Abraham Madroñal
Abraham Madroñal Durrán is professor of Spanish literature and works in the Spanish section of the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at the University of Geneva. Among his specific research interests are the history of Spanish theatre and the literature of the Spanish Golden Age. He also worked on the principal authors of the era (Lope de Vega, Cervantes, Calderón de la Barca), on whom he has published several texts. He currently directs the journal Anales Cervantinos (CSIC, Madrid) and has recently published a book on the holdings of the Library of Geneva: Poesías desconocidas del Siglo de Oro recuperadas de la Biblioteca de Ginebra [Unknown Poems from the Spanish Golden Age Rediscovered at the Library of Geneva].
