Scientific adjunct to the Bodmer Lab since September 2018, Kathinka Salzmann has studied literature at the University of Lausanne as well as the Sorbonne Nouvelle and the Freie Universität Berlin, where she received a Master of Theatre Arts. In France she worked under the direction of Ariane Mnouchkine, Claude Buchvald and Philippe Tancelin. She also assisted directors Dominique Ziegler and Raoul Teuscher, while completing a Certificate of Advanced Studies in dramaturgy. She worked as a production manager and administrator of the Théâtre de Carouge and completed a Master of English at the University of Lausanne. She is a member of the Association des jeunes auteurs romands (AJAR).
