Charles Rice-Davis

Charles Rice-Davis is lecturer at the School of Languages, Victoria University of Wellington (NZ) where he teaches and supervises postgraduate projects in language, literature and translation. In addition to many translations for the Bodmer Lab (since 2015), he has translated academic and literary texts, including the work of Haitian poet Coutechève Lavoie Aupont and bilingual poetry of Mário de Sá-Carneiro. He received a Ph.D. in French literature from Princeton University (US), where he wrote his thesis on the literary and medical history of nostalgia.
